4 DAYS IN AMSTERDAM

To lose oneself, unhurried but wandering endless, to dream but not to wake up and at the end of it all to go and do it all again.  In this post, we lose ourselves in those hidden corners of Amsterdam and, of course, we want you to come with us.

  • Day 1: Central Amsterdam Check out the bohemian neighbourhood of Jordaan before visit to the Anne Frank House, with all the history that goes with it. Discover all the secrets of the Begijnhof courtyard garden and lose yourself along the city’s infinite canals before ending your journey at the famous Heineken brewery.

  • Day 2: The Tulip Route If you find yourself planning a trip to Amsterdam, we recommend visiting in the month of April so that you can enjoy a real explosion of colours and see the tulip fields in full bloom. Plan your visit with the best tour companies and you’ll discover this natural beauty just 25km from the city centre, between Harleem and Leiden.
  • Day 3: Red Light District It is undoubtedly one of the most interesting neighbourhoods; vibrant and full of life from all over the world. On every street you’ll find a 100% Dutch atmosphere with typical Dutch taverns and plenty of coffee shops. Amid all the hustle and bustle and revelry that makes this area so famous, you’ll also come across Oude Kerk; the oldest church in the city.

  • Day 4: Traditional Markets Like any trip, you can’t go home without a souvenir! That’s why a stroll through the markets of Waterlooplein, the Flea Market and the Floating Flower Market is the ideal opportunity to find a memento of an unforgettable trip. But we can’t leave it there. It’s obligatory to end the visit at Europe’s biggest open-air market, the Albert Cuyp. You’ll find more things than you could imagine!

Without a doubt, Amsterdam is a city full of charming places and Aitana knows the city better than anyone. And don’t worry, there’s plenty more to tell you about and she’ll be delighted to let you know.
