Welcome to ROOM MATE AITANA hotel
At Room Mate Hotels, we know the best way to travel is visiting friends. So we’ve conceived each of our hotels as a personal friend of yours. Someone you’ll stay with, and who will show you around her city. Someone as unique as you. In Amsterdam, you’ll be visiting Aitana. She’s a dreamer, a little bit ironic and determined.
Goedendag! (Start practicing your Dutch!) I'm glad you've come to the City of Canals and tulips! No wonder they call it the Venice of the North. Amsterdam is a lively place and I'm sure its magic won’t let you down. Put on some comfortable shoes because I want to show you all the secrets of this intriguing city. We are on an artificial island just meters from the Central Station and the busy Dam Square, the heart of the city, where you can also visit great historical jewels like the National Monument, the Royal Palace and the Nieuwe Kerk. (Perfect location!) You cannot miss some of the most emblematic areas of Amsterdam and the Leidseplein Square, the favorite spot of artists, with plenty of places to enjoy dinner and have a drink. For culture lovers the Museum Quarter is a MUST. You will be able to know the Van Gogh Museum, which houses some of the most renowned works of the artist. Also you cannot miss the Anne Frank House, full of secrets about her life and the Rijksmuseum, which houses the works of the most famous Dutch artists like Rembrandt, Vermeer and Hals. The Floating Flower Market is a true marvel;it’s almost impossible to find a flower that is not there. Of course the popular Red Light District and the coffee shops are part of Dutch life and I recommend you to meet them, certainly there isn’t anything like it anywhere in the world! (Take a hit!)
I'm sure you’ll have a great time!
