On November 2, Kike Sarasola, Room Mate Group’s president, received the ‘‘Premio de Honor a la Labor Social en el sector hotelero 2020.’’ This award recognizes the actions carried out during the pandemic including the donation of 12 hotels and 3 apartment buildings in Spain, Italy, France and the United States to accommodate health personnel, firefighters, funeral directors and the elderly.
During his speech, Sarasola thanked the Gala Acción Social organization; its president, María Cansino and especially his team -his roomies- who worked very hard to transform the hotels and apartments in these people’s homes.
