Room Mate is not just an international hotel chain, it is a philosophy based on the idea that there is no better way to travel than visiting special friends who can take us by the hand around each city and whose lifestyle we share. Our hotels, Oscar, Aitana, Grace or Emir are just some of the friends waiting you around the world with unique, exciting experiences.
At Room Mate Hotels we have developed the concept of affordable luxury, as we believe that innovation, a great design, comfort, friendliness and exclusive locations are not incompatible with affordable prices.
We are nonconformist, and we are always questioning ourselves; that’s why we were the first to create WiMate, free wifi for the whole city, or to offer breakfast until noon. That is what Room Mate is about: setting new challenges every day to make others feel happy, as their happiness is our happiness, just like in true friendships.
Bruno is a handsome, energetic and adventurous ship’s captain whose greatest challenge was to go around the world. He is an observer, and loves to stare at the stars in the middle of the ocean or explore downtown bazaars of the most remote places.
I am positive that once on board of this hotel, you won’t want to disembark. But do not worry: I will be here to take you out to experience the most amazing places of the city.
I am waiting for you!
Bruno is for the traveller who looks for a different experience, where he/she is treated as a friend. The adventures people, the ones who want to explore, who want to discover. Whether you are there for business, leisure or both. We will surprise you with genuine hospitality combined with friendliness, a great product and meeting new friends.
That is the amazing designer Teresa Sapey, the designer of other Room Mate hotels. This collaboration with Room Mate will be the third one to date, a sign of the harmony between the brand spirit and the designs of her studio.
As soon as possible! You may sign in to our newsletter, we will let you know asap! If you cannot wait we do have more hotels to explore in other cities.
Just across the Erasmusbridge, opposite of the Rotterdam building by Rem Koolhaas is the ware house Pakhuismeesteren on the Wilhelminapier. This regenerated dockland offers a combination which is typical of Rotterdam. In the past passenger ships sailed to the New World from here. Now dozens of gigantic and luxury cruise ships moor here every year. The development of the Wilhelminapier is in full swing. It is designed as one large ship’s deck.

STAY AND SERVICES
We have all kind of rooms in Bruno. As you can imagine it was difficult to build rooms into a 17th century warehouse but we managed. We have rooms in the old building with the original ceiling and we have new build rooms on top. All rooms are designed by Teresa Sapey and tell you the story about the building, travelling by the stars and the history of the ware house
We have 217 rooms divided over 7 room types. From standard to Executive to Split level to Family to junior suite and off course the suite. Almost all rooms are different in shape, color and size.
FACILITIES AND SERVICES
We offer quit a lot of facilities inside and outside. We do have our restaurant where we serve breakfast and lunch. In the evening, it will become a bar where you can still order your bar dishes. Next this we have a patio where you can have a cup of coffee under the old ceiling, fitness area (free of charge to guests), sauna (also free), rooftop terrace and off course meeting rooms and an event hall. What did I forget… the parking? We also have 83 parking spaces under the hotel.
Strange to say that a hotel does not have Wi-Fi? Well we have Wi-Fi, the best in hotels ever. We even provide free Wi-Fi in the city via our Wi-Mate!
Yes! Bruno offers 83 parking spaces, including 8 charging points for electric cars! The parking is paid ( we will communicate the rate as soon as available!) and secured! If we are fully booked you can park your car in the car parks around the hotel. For more information click here
EAT AND DRINK
As we mentioned before you are visiting a friend and a friend will never let you leave without a breakfast. You know, it is the most important meal of the day! Who doesn’t not want to start the day with a cappuccino and have a wide variety of choice of the breakfast buffet and at our breakfast chef. And we do have breakfast until 12:00, not only in the weekend but every day of the week!
We do have a restaurant which also is a bar at night! Also next to us in the warehouse is the Mercado situated. This market place is accessible via the hotel and will be open between 10:00 – 00:00 for drinks, snacks, sandwiches, bites and more. Interested about the Mercado? Please contact Netherlands.firstname.lastname@example.org.
Well we have turned an old warehouse, Pakhuismeesteren of the tea, from 1818 into a hotel with 2017 rooms, 8 function rooms and an event hall. We have used new materials like wood to build an extra floor on top of the warehouse and we used old materials like the old doors.
By reusing those materials, environmental impact is reduced.
Well unless it is an assistance animal no. Sorry!
