At Room Mate Group, people are our priority and especially at this time we want to continue taking care of you. For that we have developed the rigorous and exhaustive STAY SAFE, STAY WELL protocol so that you feel as safe as possible, which includes strict sanitary, hygienic and action measures.
01. Rooms
Our usual comfort with maximum safety.

We have increased the disinfection of rooms as well as the frequency of cleaning in public areas every 45 minutes (including doorknobs, elevator buttons and any other surface or object that is within everyone's reach).

All room keys will be disinfected before use.

Use of specific disinfectants for cleaning all surfaces in the room.

The ventilation of the rooms is being maximized.

The rotation of rooms has been increased, trying to keep each room empty for some days between each clients stay.

Cleaning or maintenance services will be carried out when all of the guest are outside the room.

Decorative items and stationery in rooms will be removed.

All blankets and pillows in closets are protected.

Minibar products are disinfected before our guests' arrival

Breakfasts will be offered according to the phase in which each hotel is. In a first phase, breakfasts will be served in the room. In a second phase, the common areas with a la carte breakfast service will be enabled and in a third phase, the breakfast buffet will be enabled, maintaining all the necessary security measures.

Reinforcement of the cleaning and disinfection of common areas, especially those elements with frequent contact.

Increasement of the ventilation of all spaces, as well as the adjustment of the air conditioning systems to increase the renewal of the air.

Guarantee the distance between clients in those spaces where necessary.

Hydroalcoholic gel will be available in all the common areas (reception, waiting areas, elevator entrance, breakfast area, event rooms, gym, etc ...).

At the entrance you will find a cleaner to disinfect your shoes.

Our receptions have been modified with protective screens and signage on the ground to guarantee compliance with the safety distance.

The maximum capacity of the elevators will be adjusted to guarantee the safety distance.

Temporary removal of furniture and decorative objects that prevent compliance with the minimum distances.

Customers who request it will have gloves, mask and thermometer at their disposal.

Machine wash of any glassware and tableware (glasses, cups, etc.) at high temperature.

Room Mate Grace
Indoor activities:Following the provisions of the health authorities, as of August 17, people over 12 years of age must show proof that they have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized for emergency use by the FDA or WHO to access to the Aqua-Bar, the exercise room, the indoor pool, the sauna, breakfast area or any other indoor space.

We apply all the measures and recommendations of the health authorities in all the countries where we are present, adding our own measures to protect customers, suppliers and employees.
In addition, all our employees receive constant training to guarantee the correct application of the measures established in the protocols.
Is it safe to stay at Room Mate Hotels?
We have reinforced all the cleaning and disinfection protocols in rooms and common areas of our establishments according to the recommendations of the health authorities, but we have also added our own measures. All our staff and suppliers receive permanent training and we carry out periodic audits to guarantee your safety.
Also, we have been able to test the effectiveness of our protocols to prevent the risk of contagion since they have been implemented during the period in which the hotels have been working as a temporary residence for healthcare personnel, as well as those that remain open welcoming our clients.
Are the tests that are done reliable?
These antigen tests have an efficiency similar to PCRs, having the advantage of their rapid processing.
What does the test consist in and when will I get the results?
This is an antigen test carried out by assigned Quirónprevention personnel at the hotel facilities during check-in by taking a nasopharyngeal sample. Results will be obtained in approximately 15 minutes.
What happens if the test is positive?
If a positive result is obtained, the instructions provided by the health authorities of each country will be followed.
In addition, if the client needs it, they can have a room for their isolation, at the best available rate.
Are the tests mandatory for everyone hosted?
Although from Room Mate we recommend conducting tests, they are not mandatory.
But our protocols include areas reserved for clients who do carry the test out and their result is negative, thus guaranteeing maximum security. The tests can also be done once every 3 nights during the stay.
At what time can I take the tests?
The schedule to take the test is from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., weekends and holidays included. If you arrive outside these hours, we offer you two options: go to a QUIRÓN center that will be indicated or do the test the following day, but do not worry because until then, you will have a room for yourself.
