  • The Port

    Endless modernism

No other place in the world has more modernist and unique buildings than Barcelona. Casa Batlló and Casa Milà (more popularly known as La Pedrera)—both designed by Gaudí—are located in the middle of the city, right on Passeig de Gràcia. Casa Amatller, Palau Güell, Hospital de la Santa Creu y Sant Pau, and Palau de la Música are just some of the architectural jewels that you can discover while exploring the city. They’re simply breathtaking!

  • La Sagrada Familia

    La Sagrada Familia

One of the longest-running construction projects in history—another product of Gaudí’s genius, of course—has been in progress since 1882, and it’s not expected to be completed until 2026. Will it be finished on time? We have no idea, but what we do know is that it’s definitely worth a visit because it is a quintessential symbol of Barcelona, and frankly speaking, it’s simply A-MA-ZING!

  • Montjuïc Castle and its views

    Montjuïc Castle and its views

The 1992 Olympic Games left Barcelona with a legacy of countless sports facilities in Montjuïc, the hillside overlooking the city. Recommendation: Wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the blend of nature and history of this district. The Castle sits at the top and offers stunning views of the port and the city. You'll love it!

  • The Gothic Quarter

    The Gothic Quarter

Right in the heart of Barcelona is the Gothic Quarter, with its labyrinth of streets teeming with charm and a bohemian atmosphere, live music, artisan shops, local bars and restaurants, and heaps of history. We suggest visiting Plaça del Rei, the streets Banys Nous and Cometa, the square in front of City Hall (Plaça Sant Jaume), and the plaza facing the cathedral (Pla de la Seu).

  • The Port

    The Port

One of Barcelona’s most attractive features is the sea. Be sure to visit the port where there’s so much to do. For those rare rainy days, there’s Maremagnum, a shopping and entertainment center that opens 365 days a year, with movie theaters, restaurants, and sea views. What more could you want? But if the sun is shining, take a stroll through the Barceloneta neighborhood, which is full of bars, to the Olympic Port where the famous goldfish and Casino can be found. If you want some peace and quiet, continue walking along the promenade until you reach Bogatell beach.

  • El Borne

    El Borne

Opposite the Gothic Quarter is one of the most iconic neighborhoods of Barcelona—El Borne. Right in the middle is the Catedral de Santa María del Mar, more popularly known as the “Cathedral of the Sea”. Take note! Check out its Mediterranean Gothic style, which is different from other Gothic creations. You can use it as a landmark to get your bearings since the narrow, winding streets are a veritable labyrinth. The cathedral is surrounded by countless terraces for enjoying some tapas, and if the night goes on, this is definitely the place to be! You can try delicious cocktails or just go with the flow at the nearby bars and dance clubs.
